Abhishek Kolge is an Indian filmmaker living in Berlin. 

Specialising in the direction and camera department, Kolge has worked on different projects primarily valuing the relationship with actors and the magic behind lights and composition, but also accepting roles such as assistant director on Indian features films. 

Thriving to tells the stories with important messages, the short film “Avasaan - The Terminus” is his first award winning Indian film and a true story of a loving family, injustice and hope. It has undergone a successful festival strategy including national and international nominations, winning awards in the student category such as “Best Film”, “Best Jury” and in the “Best Director” section.

His latest project, the psychological horror “In Your Head”, is set to be released in 2024.

With an additional love for photography, Abhishek appreciates the art of analog photography and capturing pictures that include portraits, street photography and happy accidents. 

Currently located in Germany he is accepting new opportunities both locally and internationally.
